Transit
The way to enjoy an in-between moment
As millions of others I tend to always have my vision on something into the future. I’m always on my way to a place further ahead. I’m always working on a project that will take place down the road. But I have also always thought that I will be happier when I’m at the finishing line. That I will know the answers at the end of this specific moment. That I will be a good entrepreneur with great results when this three months period has passed. Or that I will be a perfect mum at the end of this semester when my job is a bit calmer, when the car is sold, when we have re-arranged the living room or that we have started to cook better food.
Transit, transit, transit! I’m constantly on the move towards a place where everything will be perfect. It’s really no news what so ever, but hey! This transit is probably what life is and always will be. I will never reach a place where everything is finally in complete harmony. So now it’s up to me to start looking at my everyday life as a beautiful space in time. My transit is my life and I have the full control of looking at it in the way that best serves me.
“For just one second, look at your life and see how perfect it is. Stop looking for the next secret door that is going to lead you to your real life. Stop waiting. This is it: there’s nothing else. It’s here, and you’d better decide to enjoy it or you’re going to be miserable wherever you go, for the rest of your life, forever.
